Have you noticed the references to pants on fire throughout the first two seasons of The Tick?

Here's what I have seen so far:

1. In The Tick vs. Dinosaur Neil, The Professor attempts to lure Dinosaur Neil towards his giant pair of pants. Near the end of this episode, the giant pants catch on fire.
2. In The Tick vs. The Tick, Barry drives past The Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight leaving a trail of fire, and Bomber says, "Yeah? Keep playing with fire, superpants! You don't know how much fire you're playing with!"
3. In Ants in Pants!, The Tick overcomes a phobia of ants in his pants. During the course of this episode, led by Betty, The Ant Queen, the ant population constructs a giant magnifier that heats up (and may burn away) The City. Is it a coincidence that The Professor also appears in this episode?
4. In The Tick vs. Reno, Nevada, Soren and Fredrica, World Famous Entertrainers, have their dolphin, Mr. Smarty Pants, perform a trick where he jumps into a one-legged pair of pants. After he succeeds, they do it again after they set the pants, "ON FIRE!"
