Rose-Hulman's Computer Science and Software Engineering programs are accredited by the Computer Accreditation Commission and the Engineering Accreditation Commission, respectively, of ABET. Our program is the only ABET accredited Software Engineering program in the state of Indiana.

A recent report by the 2020 Science Group concludes that computing and computer science will become fundamental to all sciences, particularly the natural sciences.
